What is Aqua Titan?

Aqua Titan is a material made up of microscopic titanium particles dispersed in water, achieved through Phiten’s processing technology. This material embeds titanium particles into the strands of the fabric, while maintaining a comfortable texture.

This unique fabric is applied to products such as the Rakuwa Necklace and supporter series.

What’s the difference between the Power Tape patches and Titan Tape Rolls?

The effects are the same. The only difference is the size, shape and also the Tape Roll is elastic. Power Tape patches can easily be placed directly on to specific parts of the body, whereas the Titanium Tape Rolls can cover greater areas and can be strapped easily around your knee, elbow or other joints.

Where should I apply the Power Tape Patches?

You can simply apply them anywhere you feel the need to. You can easily apply to any specific point on the body.  Please see our usage guide for more information.

How long does the Phiten Power Tape last?

The aquatitan will remain in the material permanently. For hygiene reasons however, we do not recommend you keep them on for longer than 2 days. After this time we recommend that you remove patches with warm water as appropriate.

Can I wash Bracelets and Necklaces?

Since Aquatitan is embedded and bound firmly into the fabric it will not come off even after the product is washed or absorbs sweat. It is fine to place them with a standard washing load as long as the wash is at 30ºc or lower.

What size of necklace would you recommend I wear?

Depending on series, there are various lengths. The most common sizes are 45cm and 55cm. As a general guide 45cm necklaces will be suitable for average sized women and children and sports players who prefer a tighter fit. 55cm necklaces will be suitable for average sized men, and people who would prefer their necklace not to be visible around the neck.

What do the terms ‘X30’ and ‘X50’ mean?

X30 and X50 are among our most popular ranges of necklaces and bracelets. The materials used to make these products contain a higher concentration of aquatitan than the regular Phiten products. However, please bear in mind that this does not mean that they will necessarily be more effective than the other ranges.
